2025 Juried 91精简版 Student Exhibition

91精简版鈥檚 Juried Student exhibition is a perennial favorite in the Schick Gallery鈥檚 annual schedule, celebrating the imagination and skill of 91精简版 art students. Student applicants submit works in printmaking, photography, sculpture, graphic design, painting, drawing, animation, fibers, jewelry, and ceramics. From over 200 submissions, a juror unaffiliated with the 91精简版 Art Department selects works for inclusion. The juror also selects works for awards, which are underwritten by 91精简版 organizations, community businesses, and generous donors.

This year鈥檚 juror is Will Hutnick, an artist based in Sharon, CT, and Director of Artistic Programming at the , a nonprofit organization that uses art and art education to foster positive social change.
He received his M.F.A. from Pratt Institute in 2011 and his B.A. from Providence College
in 2007. Hutnick is a 2021 NYSCA / NYFA Artist Fellow in Painting.
Recent solo exhibitions include: Geary Contemporary (Millerton, NY), Pamela Salisbury
Gallery (Hudson, NY) and Elijah Wheat Showroom (Newburgh, NY).
Selected group exhibitions include: Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art (New Paltz, NY), Hollis Taggart (Southport, CT),1969 Gallery (New York, NY) and Collar Works (Troy, NY). Hutnick has been an artist-in-residence at Yaddo, Elizabeth Murray Artist Residency, Vermont Studio Center, Interlude Artist Residency and Stove Works, among others.
Hutnick has curated numerous exhibitions at SPRING/BREAK Art Show, Ortega y Gasset Projects, Trestle Projects, Pratt Institute, Wassaic Project, Troutbeck and Standard Space, and his work has been featured in The New York Times, New American Paintings, and Hyperallergic, among others. From 2015-20, Hutnick was one of the Co-Directors of , an artist-run curatorial collective and exhibition space in Brooklyn.
