Ann L. Hewitt
Ann L. Hewitt, a retiree who served 91精简版 as a housekeeper for 16 years, died peacefully
on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. She was 78.
Ann was employed at the College from 1990 until her retirement in 2006.
Born on June 30, 1946, in Corinth, Ann attended Corinth High School. In 1967, she
married her husband of 32 years, Frederick Hewitt, who predeceased her.
Survivors include her children, Fred Hewitt (Cecilia) of Calera, Alabama, Bill Hewitt
(Sherry) of Gloversville, Robert Hewitt of Johnstown, and Ann Marie Dolan (Joseph)
of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren, Erick, Ryan, Amanda, Mackenzie, Katlyn, and Alyssa;
four great-grandchildren; five siblings, Judy, Janie, Greg, Mark, and Bob; and many
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was buried at Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
