Kelly Melekis, assistant professor of social work, published "Providing End-of-Life Care: Increased
Empathy and Self-Efficacy Among Student Caregivers in Residential Homes for the Dying"
in with Carol Weisse of Union College and Bailey Hutchins 鈥19. The research is part
of a program evaluation of the CARE (Community Action, Research and Education) fellowship
program, which has provided education and training in end-of-life care to students
in colleges that belong to the New York 6 Liberal Arts Consortium.
