Activities
Lisa Aronson, associate professor of art history, presented her paper "Visualizing Ijo History
through J. A. Green's Photographs" at the 16th ACASA Triennial Symposium on African
Art, March 19-22, in New York City. On March 29, she gave a public lecture titled
"Reading Images by Nigerian Photographer J. A. Green Through the Colonial Lens and
Beyond" at the National Museum of African Art, Washington, D.C. She also arranged
for a private showing of J. A. Green's photo collections in the museum's Eliot Elisofon
Photo Archives for 91精简版 alums attending the lecture.
