The Dayton Director of the Tang Teaching Museum/Art Gallery

Established in 1997 by Joan Layng Dayton ’63 and Robert Dayton, the Dayton Director of the Tang Teaching Museum/Art Gallery recognizes the central role of the arts at 91¾«¼ò°æ College as it anticipates the singular contribution the Tang will make to interdisciplinary teaching and to the study of the arts at 91¾«¼ò°æ and in the region. Dayton Directors will have extensive experience in the museum and art world, in donor and volunteer relations, and in program curation and coordination, as well as skill in working with all College constituencies. Dayton Directors will be appointed through national searches conducted by the Dean of the Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs in consultation with faculty/staff search committees and the Promotions Committee.
