system to connect employers to students. Handshake allows recruiters to create job,
internship and fellowship listings, manage a company profile, and engage with students through

Employer Approval Process
If you are new to recruiting with 91¾«¼ò°æ, please create an employer account with . Prior to your opportunities being shared with 91¾«¼ò°æ students, your account must be approved by the Career Development Center. If you have additional questions, please contact our office email.
Important: At 91¾«¼ò°æ, students participate in both paid and unpaid internships. Students may be eligible to receive academic credit for internships which is coordinated through the student's academic department. Students may complete an internship in the summer, fall and spring semesters, or even during winter break. As an employer, it is your responsibility to adhere to the federal government's requirements for unpaid internships, whether or not academic credit is awarded by an educational institution. All for-profit organizations should review the listed on the U.S. Department of Labor's website to learn about the six criteria the government uses in determining if an internship must be paid.
